Every summer, we hire awful interns. This summer is no different, but less bad than last year. How can you really top a kid, who breaks into the office? Or a kid, who gets physically sick by coming to the office, so he quits after a month (and later to ask for a letter of recommendation). So, yeah that is hard to top. But, I wanted to share this gem.
Last week, I asked my intern to clean up the coffee machine and pods in the conference room, but what I found was a half-done job. Use common sense, kid! Don't get literal with me! Why, would I want the conference room to look like this? Esp. with a dirty glass to the left.
Think of your office, like your parent's home. Oh well, he was gone by the time I looked into the conference room, so I had to do it myself. Seriously, this was a no fail task, but I guess not. Hopefully, he will prove himself useful this summer. NOT.

seven months of stupidity
The expert, Richard L. Hasen, a professor at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, said that while Mr. Coleman’s side might argue that the election had problems, “the position of the justices appears to be: ‘You need to do more than that. You need to show us that whatever problems there were likely affected the outcome of the election.’ And that’s a tough standard to meet.” John Schwartz, June 1, 2009, New York Times "Minnesota Justices are Skeptical in Senate Case"No shit, man. This is Coleman's third attempt to overrule Franken's victory. Just. give. up. The third time is not the charm. If you ever want a future in Minnesota politics again - Just. give. up. It has been 7 months already, spring has sprung!

Really?
I am not sure why I post blog entries when I should be sleeping! But I am.
Did you see this video (above)? I found this video from CNN hilarious. First, that was not a real question. Second, do people really believe that if elected Barack Obama will cover the United States with a red wave of communism? It is quite obvious that this woman has an agenda. A McCain Agenda! I would have the same response, if I were Joe Biden.
But, here is her response to her interview:
Honey, where were you during the questioning of George W with the WMDs and Iraq? Your line of questioning (or lack thereof) caused the proper reaction from the Obama-Biden campaign. If I were running for President and she asked me this question, I would have shot her in her face (STALIN STYLE, BEYOTCH!). Now, my comment is out of line.

Oddities
This Spring, I noticed something strange on the CNN website.
Have you ever noticed that on the CNN website, you can purchase a T-shirt with the titles of news stories. This would not be so strange if the titles were not so odd. Like "Elephant warms to baby she stomped."
What a strange marketing ploy. And of course, the most popular shirt sold by CNN is "Asian women seek white, groveling men." Le Sigh!

- Why would I want to watch a this video? I don't like watching Elephants, especially smushed ones.
- What a strange title to put on a shirt? Other titles (this month) include "Cheerleader skirts too short for school" and "Agents find 200 pot plants in mall." And how come I can't purchase the title that says "Boy, 9, told he's too good to be pitcher"? It is on the CNN website.
- Do I really want a t-shirt that says this title and that "I just found saw it on CNN.com" with the date and time? Plus $15 dollars and shipping? I could make that shirt for you.
